After consulting with industry professionals and visiting various places, I decided to adopt DRA-CAD, which was already being used by major design firms and general contractors, had a large user base, and was highly regarded for its ease of use. Since it was my first experience with computers, I took foundational courses to learn, but DRA-CAD's operation felt very close to hand-drawing, which was a great help. Purchasing a computer and starting CAD at the age of 45, and still actively drawing plans even after turning 60, makes me feel that my way of thinking and the choice of DRA-CAD were indeed the right decisions."
